This is the most wonderful recipe. I also cannot find the Swiss Choc Cake Mix any longer and use the German Choc cake mix. I have substituted Hershey's Symphony Candy bars with toffee instead of the Hershey Bars with Almond for a change. This cake hits the spot but is not overly sweet which makes it PERFECT!!

My 14 year old, aspiring chef grandson made this cake for his great-grandfather's 90th birthday & it was a huge hit. The cake was light, the frosting not overly sweet & he already has been asked to make the cake for someone else! Loved it!!

I made this cake for my dad's birthday for 5 years, then my for my brother's 12 birthday. After that everyone wanted to try this cake, so i made it for baby sowers, birthdays. mothers and fathers day, 4th of July, and even a wedding. May i note that I'm only 14. I love this cake.
