The Michelada

This beer-based Mexican refresher is a good way to kick off your taco night. The tangy, spicy flavors are a perfect match for the smoky, spicy pork and sweet-tart pineapple salsa. Prepare the base ahead, chill, and stir in the beer just before serving. --Julianna Grimes

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons spicy Bloody Mary mix (such as Tabasco)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon lower-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 2 (12-ounce) bottles light beer

Preparation

Combine spicy Bloody Mary mix, fresh lime juice, soy sauce, hot pepper sauce, and beer. Serve over ice.
