Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup(s) Self rising cornmeal
  • 1 cup(s) Cream style corn
  • 8 ounce(s) Sour cream
  • 1/3 cup(s) Oil
  • 2 Eggs Lightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Minced onion
  • 2 Jalapeño pepper Chopped
  • 1.5 cup(s) Sharp cheese Grated

Preparation

Mix all ingredients except cheese. Into a preheated iron skillet, pour half of batter. Sprinkle with half of cheese. Pour in preheated iron skillet, pour half of batter. Sprinkle with half of cheese. Pour in remaining batter and top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
