- 2 can(s) Cream of Chicken (or 1 can broth)
- 2 can(s) water
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) black pepper
- ice water to consistency
- Dumplings: Mix shortening and flour. Add ice water to achieve consistency. Use rolling pin to flatten into a thin sheet. Cut in strips 1/2 inch by 3 inches.
- Soup: In large pot, combine cream of chicken soup, water, black pepper, and dumplings. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
