Merry Berry Filling

Cranberries, raspberries, and strawberries make up Merry Berry Filling. Spread this festive filling between layers of your favorite white cake for impressive pops of color with each slice.


  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon cold water
  • 1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons butter

How to Make It

  1. Cook first 4 ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring often, 3 to 4 minutes or until cranberries begin to pop. Whisk together cornstarch and 1 Tbsp. cold water until smooth; add to cranberry mixture, and cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute. Stir in strawberries and butter until butter is melted. Cool to room temperature (about 30 minutes). Cover and chill 6 hours.
