- 3 tablespoons meringue powder
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Beat meringue powder and 1/2 cup water at high speed with an electric mixer until foamy. Add cream of tartar, beating until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff peaks form.
