Meringue Frosting

Yield about 4 1/2 cups

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons meringue powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/2 cup sugar

How to Make It

  1. Beat meringue powder and 1/2 cup water at high speed with an electric mixer until foamy. Add cream of tartar, beating until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff peaks form.
