  • 1 garlic clove, sliced
  • 3/4 cup 1% low-fat milk
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon stick margarine or butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

How to Make It

  1. Place potato and garlic in a medium saucepan; add water to cover. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 25 minutes or until tender. Drain. Return potato to pan. Add milk and remaining ingredients; mash with a potato masher.
