  • 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon lime juice, divided
  • Coarse salt
  • 1 1/2 ounces tequila
  • 3/4 ounce Triple Sec
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Crushed ice
  • Lime wedge (optional)

How to Make It

  1. Dip rim of cocktail glass in 1 tablespoon lime juice; dip in a shallow dish of coarse salt to coat rim of glass.

  2. Combine remaining 1/4 cup lime juice, tequila, Triple Sec, and sugar in a small pitcher, mixing well. Pour mixture over crushed ice in prepared glass. Garnish with a lime wedge, if desired.
