Yield: 8 servings (serving size: about 1 1/2 tablespoons)
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth
5 tablespoons maple syrup
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon bourbon or apple juice
Preparation
Combine first 3 ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer about 20 minutes or until mixture is reduced to 2/3 cup. Stir in bourbon. Serve warm.
