Maple syrup and chopped applewood-smoked bacon slices are stirred into melted marshmallows for an amazingly tasty dessert treat of Maple-Bacon Chewy Crispy Bars.

2 tablespoons butter
10 ounce marshmallows
3 tablespoons maple syrup
4 cooked, drained, chopped applewood-smoked bacon slices
6 cups rice cereal
Melt butter and marshmallows over medium-low heat. Stir maple syrup and bacon into melted marshmallows. Add cereal, and toss well to combine. Press mixture into a 13 x 9-inch pan coated with cooking spray.
