Mango Salsa
To celebrate her birthday, Helen Claire's family held a feast at their historic vacation home near St. Augustine, Florida. Personal chef Kitty Boswell-Herda served grilled snapper topped with this mango salsa.
Yield: Makes about 4 1/2 cups
Ingredients
- 3 ripe mangos, peeled, seeded, and coarsely chopped
- 1/2 sweet onion, chopped
- 1 tomato, seeded and chopped
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
Preparation
- Combine all ingredients; cover and chill. Serve as a relish for grilled fish or with chips.
