Manchego Toasts

Manchego Toasts are our update to cheese toast. For this simple accompaniment, slices of manchego cheese are melted atop baguette slices.

Ingredients

  • 8 (1/2-ounce) slices baguette
  • 5 to 6 tablespoons Manchego cheese

Preparation

  1. Preheat broiler to high. Place baguette slices on a baking sheet. Broil 2 minutes or until toasted. Sprinkle about 2 teaspoons Manchego cheese on each toast slice; broil 1 minute or until cheese melts and begins to brown.
