- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup quick-cooking polenta
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup grated Manchego or Romano cheese
How to Make It
Bring water or broth to a boil in a medium saucepan; stir in salt and pepper. Slowly whisk in polenta, and cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until polenta is thickened and tender. Stir in butter and cheese.
