Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 C Crisco (or 4 sticks whipped margarine)
  • 2 1/4 C Sugar
  • 7 eggs
  • 2 1/2 C Plain Flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • Cream butter and sugar. According to Mac, at least 5 minutes.
  • Add 7 eggs, one at a time.
  • Add flour - all at once
  • Add Vanilla.
  • Grease and flour a tube pan.
  • Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
