Little Dix Bay Planter'S Punch

Yield 4 1/2 cups


  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 3 cups fruit punch
  • 1 cup dark rum*
  • Crushed ice

How to Make It

  1. Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to a boil. Boil 5 minutes without stirring. Cool. Stir in lime juice.

  2. Combine sugar mixture with fruit punch and rum. Serve over crushed ice.

  3. *In testing, we used 1/2 cup Myers'sRum and 1/2 cup Mount Gay Extra Old Barbad
