3 firm, ripe, 7- to 8-inch bananas, peeled, halved and sliced lengthwise
1/4 cup Karo® Lite Syrup
1 tablespoon rum or banana liquor, optional
Vanilla ice cream
How to Make It
MELT margarine in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar blend, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg.
ADD lite syrup when mixture begins to bubble; gently stir in bananas. Cook bananas for about 1 minute per side until hot. Remove from heat and add rum, if desired. Serve immediately over ice cream. Nutrition tip: Look for a sugar-free or reduced-fat ice cream.
