Ingredients
- 1 whole(s) Lemon
- 2 tablespoon(s) white wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup(s) sugar
- 1 tablespoon(s) olive oil
- 1 teaspoon(s) poppy seeds
Preparation
- Dressing: Zest lemon to measure 1/2 tsp. Juice lemon for at least 2 TBS of juice. Combine zest, juice, vinegar, sugar, oil, and poppy seeds in a small bowl. Whisk until well blended. Cover; refrigerate until ready to use. Salad: Mix together
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted
- 8 oz (1 1/2 cups) strawberries, hulled and quartered
- 1/2 medium cucumber, sliced and cut in half
- 1/4 cup red onion, sliced
- 6oz fresh baby spinach
