Notes:

Silver, Platinum, White are all types of blanco tequilas.

Blanco (unaged) tequila is best for cooking, set out at room temperature for one week for flavors to develop.

Añejo (aged over a year) or reposado (aged less than a year) tequila is best for desert and cold dishes.

Añejo and reposado tequilas are best for sipping. Blanco tequilas are best for taking shots.

80 Proof rum, 40% alcohol by volume, (Bacardi Select, Captain Morgan Private Stock) make the best rum cakes without over or under powering other flavors.
