Makes about 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 small garlic clove, pressed
  • 2 tablespoons minced shallot
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh chives
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon whole grain Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce

How to Make It

  1. Combine all ingredients in a 1-qt. glass jar with a tight-fitting lid. Cover and shake vigorously to blend. Chill 30 minutes. Refrigerate in covered jar up to 1 week. Shake well before serving.
