Lemon Hard Sauce

Yield 1/2 cup


  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • 1 teaspoon lemon extract

How to Make It

  1. Cream butter in a medium mixing bowl. Add sugar and salt; beat well. Gradually add milk, and beat until creamy. Stir in lemon extract. Chill.
