  • 1 pound(s) green beans

Preparation

  1. In a large pot of boiling salted water,
  2. cook 1 pound green beans. trimmed.
  3. until crisp-tender. 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. Drain and return to pot. Toss with
  5. 1 tablespoon each extra -virgin
  6. olive oil and fresh lemon juice and
  7. 14 cup chopped toasted almonds.
  8. Sprinkle with% teaspoon finely grated
  9. lemon zest and season with coarse
  10. salt and ground pepper.
