Lemon-grass Syrup

Yield Makes 1 quart


  • 1 (3-inch) stalk lemon grass
  • 2 kaffir lime leaves
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups sugar

How to Make It

  1. Combine ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, and let stand until cool. Refrigerate until cold. Strain before serving.
