- 1 lemon, very thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
- Place all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat, and bring to a low boil. Cook, stirring constantly, about 7 to 10 minutes or until sugar has dissolved and mixture has thickened slightly. Cool about 10 minutes.
