I thought the recipe was good but I didn't think the sauce thickened enough, so I added some flour to it. I also thought it was a bit too tart, so next time I will use half the amount of lemon juice. Otherwise, it was easy and tasty.

I thought this recipe was great. The sauce was really good but since the sauce was pored over the chicken, the chicken didn't soak up the favor of the sauce. I will make again, but I think next time I might put the chicken back in the pan for a minute so the chicken will soak up the sauce. I served with thyme brussels sprouts and wheat sourdough bread.

This was a wonderful dish. My husband rarely gives a recipe 5 stars, but he did this one. Will definetly use again. Served with mixed veggies and corn on the cob.

This recipe is a winner! Easy to make, and good enough for company. If you like lemon, you will love it! (If you don't like lemon, just skip this recipe.) I used 4 chicken breast halves, but made the full recipe of sauce. To cut down on calories (without sacrificing flavor) use 1 Tablespoon of butter at the end rather than 2. This tastes so good, and looks pretty on the plate, too.

Very easy to make. The best lemon chicken recipe I've ever made! The whole family enjoyed this dish. Instead of cutting the chicken breast in half & using a rolling pin, I bought thin cut breasts at the store. I also cooked my chicken for 5 minutes on each side b/c I noticed at 3 min that the chicken was still a little pink in the middle.

just made this tonight and it was wonderful. My son actually went for seconds. I substituted the thin, boneless, skinless cutlets which eliminated the pounding step and used cilantro instead of parsley. Served w/ rice and peas - yummy!

I like the way chicken is prepared in this recipe, but the sauce is not worth wasting ingredients on: it is too buttery.

I had a bunch of lemons I needed to use so tried this recipe. It was fast and extremely tasty. Husband loved it. Served it with green beans and couscous. Will definitely make again. However, I will double the sauce ingredients as there wasn't enough sauce to go with the green beans. Also, I forgot to add the butter at the end, but we didn't even miss it. So I think I will just skip that in the future and save on the calories/fat.

I made this for a dinner party and was SOOO glad I did. It was a huge hit and people were asking for seconds and thirds. Extremely delicious -- I'm making it again tomorrow night for my dad's birthday dinner! I serve it with three other SL recipes... Carrot Orzo, Green Beans with Goat Cheese, Tomatoes and Almonds; and Fresh Herb Spoon Rolls... the perfect combination!

This was amazing, it had the right amount of lemon without it being too overpowering. I cannot believe this took only 30 minutes to get this on the dinner table. I love the lemon slices in the sauce, it made such a beautiful presentation. The only change that I made is that I doubled the sauce. Wonderful

I made this exactly as the recipe indicated and it turned out wonderfully! The dish has a very mild lemon flavor. You will want to make sure to add the parsley as I think it really helped brighten the flavors of the dish. I made this for a party so I cooked the chicken in the pan as the recipe required but then put the chicken in the oven until I was ready to serve it. I simply poured the sauce over the hot chicken and that was it.

I followed the recipe and thought the sauce was a little sour for my taste so I added some honey and it was very good that way with the chicken.

Just wanted to mention if you like to keep lemons for future use and no waste, submerge them (washed with peel on) in a bowl of water in the refrigerator. You will have fresh lemons for weeks on end. I currently have had a bowl in my frig for 2 months, and they are beautiful. Wow...what a money saver, and I always have a lemon or zest when needed.

I loved this recipe. It was so simple to make and the lemon flavor was so good. I served this with brussel sprouts, rosemary roasted potatoes, and french bread with olive oil and bread dip mix. It was a big hit!

Delicious. Depending on the type of lemon, it can be quite tart. Meyer lemons are better flavour IMHO. I serve with whole black olives and crumbled feta sprinkled over top, and Rosemary roasted potatoes

My husband and I LOVE this recipe! For once, start to finish was really less than 30 minutes. I used white wine instead of chicken broth and served it with basmati rice.
