- 2 cups butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind (optional)
How to Make It
Beat butter until creamy; gradually add powdered sugar, beating well. Add flour, 1 cup at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in extract and, if desired, rind.
Form dough into desired shapes using a cookie press, and place onto parchment paper-lined baking sheets.
Bake at 325° for 12 to 15 minutes per batch. Cool on wire racks.
