- 4 small cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 3/4 cups lemon juice
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 teaspoons ground thyme
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- 1 (10- to 10 1/2-pound) turkey, quartered
How to Make It
Combine garlic and salt, stirring to blend. Add next 5 ingredients; mix well. Pour sauce over turkey; cover, and marinate overnight in refrigerator.
Place turkey, skin side down, on grill; reserve marinating sauce. Cover, and grill over medium coals 2 hours, turning turkey every 15 minutes. Brush with reserved sauce during last 30 minutes of grilling.
