Leek-and-Bacon Tart

    Worthy of a Special Occasion

    This is a really disappointing recipe. I used the purchased pie crust option, with terrible results. I pre-baked it per the instructions, however the runny filling soaked into the crust, which disappeared into the filling during baking. It was also difficult to remove from the tart pan. It made a terrible mess coming out. The only flavor that came through was leeks. I didn't notice the presence of the bacon (or the ham I added to the ingredients list). This needs cheese or something. This is also not an eye-pleasing recipe. The green from the leeks makes it look drab and unappealing.
