Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
Clean chicken and sit in a roasting pan. Cover in salt. Put in hot oven and cook until done.
When done, remove chicken from pan, and reserve drippings for gravy. While chicken rests let drippings separate from fat, and make gravy.
Slice chicken and serve.
