- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
How to Make It
Combine cornmeal and salt; add boiling water, and stir well. Add remaining ingredients, mixing well.
Drop mixture by tablespoonfuls onto a greased griddle. Bake at 450° for 15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
