3 pounds ground beef, browned and drained
1 onion, finely chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 (28-oz.) can tomato sauce
3/4 cup ketchup
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
8 sandwich buns, split
Combine all ingredients except sandwich buns in a 5-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low setting 4 hours. Serve on sandwich buns.
