JUDY'S PEANUT BUTTER SLICES

Peanut Butter Squares

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup(s) White Sugar
  • 1/2 drop(s) White Corn Syrup
  • 1/2 tablespoon(s) Vanilla
  • 1 cup(s) peanut butter
  • 1 pinch(s) Salt
  • 2 cup(s) Corn Flakes
  • 1 cup(s) Rice Krispies

Preparation

Put the ingredients in the top of a double broiler and when blended add the Corn Flakes and the Rice Krispies. Stir well. Put in a 9x9 square pan. Ice when cool.

Icing: Melt 1/4 cup of Butter and 1/2 cup Brown Sugar over mediun heat, then add 3 TBSP Cream and 1 Cup Icing Sugar. Add as needed. Spread on the squares, and cut to the desired size. DO NOT REFRIGERATE OR IT WILL SET UP TOO HARD.
