Jasmine Chai Rice Pudding

I don't know, I was really looking forward to trying this for some time, and it had such good reviews. But it just really didn't wow me. The flavors were okay, but the appearance was awful. Mine was a medium brown, and very unappetizing-looking. The consistency wasn't the greatest, not very creamy. It wasn't bad, but it looked awful and I just don't know if I'd make it again. I'd probably gve it 2.5 stars.

I made this for a special date and it turned out incredibly. He LOVED it and raves about it all the time! It's a rice pudding so one can't expect it to look like a five-layer decorated cake right out of the pot. I made sure to purchase some high-quality, loose leaf chai tea from our local spice and tea shop and it made the pudding as great as it was. It was called "Bombay Chai" and has the perfect balance of sweetness and spice.
