I rated this at three as I have not made this recipe, I have my own that I enjoy. However, felt I had to comment on the two other reviews who gave this a low rating because the recipe doesn't state what to do with the oil....perhaps, common sense would explain. Fry until browned and cook through...

The recipe looks great, however, there is no cooking time listed in the recipe. As the other reviewer said, the part missing from the recipe is putting the jalapeno into the hot oil...and cooking it until (?)

There is something missing from this recipe...the part where you do something with the oil. I assume that after you roll the jalapenos in the crumbs you fry them in the oil. That part is missing from recipe.

Very tasty ... I added bacon to second batch ... Turned out great. I'm planning on adding pepperoni to half the next batch with Italian cheese instead of cheddar ... I'll let you know ; )

they did not list the 2 inches of oil - use some common sense will ya.... if you want to get technical about it they didn't tell you to take the cream cheese out of the wrapper either - did you mix wrapper and all in the pepper???? For the person submitting the recipe it was great we loved it!

I haven't tried this yet but it looks pretty good! I think everyone knows to take off the wrapper of the cream cheese before starting. The oil should be just lightly smoking,, that's how you know its hot enough. If the cream cheese is leaking out, its probably too hot. Turn the heat down. They are done when they are lightly brown. These are old posts I am seeing...

Um, it says to "heat the oil"..later it says to "fry" the peppers. So I'm not sure how people don't know what to do with the oil? Good recipe, easy to make.
