How to Make It

Heat olive oil in a small pot on medium heat. Once heated, add onions and cook for 4 minutes. Add carrot and red wine; cook for a minute. Add diced tomato, tomato paste, and sausage. Simmer for 20 minutes. Add the heavy cream and stir; add salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes. Garnish with basil.
