This soup was very easy to make and fantastically tasty! I used bulk italian pork sausage instead of chicken sausage and my own turkey stock from Thanksgiving. Using your own stock would definitely be preferable to commercial made, but either way, LOVED this soup!

I made this today for lunch and it was a hit with my family. The only thing I did different was to add some cayenne pepper to give it a bit more spice. My family likes spicy. We will definately have this meal again.

Great soup using only five ingredients, worthy of serving to guests.

We were not fans of this soup. I think that pork sausage definitely would have added a lot more flavor.

Absolutely amazing ~ this is a great recipe when you are sick because it takes so little time to prepare (which is a plus when all you want to do is lie down). It's reminiscent of grandma's cooking and is extremely flavorful despite not having many ingredients. I used canned artichokes and frozen precooked chicken sausage. Fantastic!

I wish I'd "listened" to the majority of the reviewers and stuck to the Italian Chicken Sausage instead of Italian Pork Sausage. The pork sausage was just too heavy. I think I would like this soup if I had just stuck to the original recipe. I did add mushrooms though for extra texture.
