Yield: Makes 12 servings
- 4 cups whole natural almonds
- Place almonds in a large saucepan; add water to cover. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 5 to 10 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain, and plunge into ice water. Cool completely; chill on a bed of ice before serving. Remove skins to eat.
