Hot Cocoa Supreme

Yield Serves 6 to 8
Topped with marshmallows and chocolate chips or even sprinkled with crushed mints, it's a terrific way to warm up.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup baking cocoa
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 5 cups water
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to Make It

  1. Combine sugar, cocoa and salt in saucepan; whisk in water. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring until sugar is completely dissolved. Reduce heat to medium; add milk, cream and vanilla. Heat through without boiling; keep warm over low heat.
