Hot Chocolate Supreme
Curl up and enjoy a mug of this chocolatey cocoa on a frosty winter's day.
Yield: 8 3/4 cup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup baking cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 5 cups water
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup whipping cream
- Garnishes: mini marshmallows or whipped topping, peppermint sticks
- Combine sugar, cocoa and salt in a saucepan; whisk in water. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring until sugar is completely dissolved. Reduce heat to medium; add milk and cream. Heat thoroughly and keep warm over low heat. If desired, serve topped with marshmallows or whipped topping and peppermint sticks.
