Curl up and enjoy a mug of this chocolatey cocoa on a frosty winter's day.
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1/4 teaspoon salt
5 cups water
2 cups milk
1 cup whipping cream
Garnishes: mini marshmallows or whipped topping, peppermint sticks
How to Make It
Combine sugar, cocoa and salt in a saucepan; whisk in water. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring until sugar is completely dissolved. Reduce heat to medium; add milk and cream. Heat thoroughly and keep warm over low heat. If desired, serve topped with marshmallows or whipped topping and peppermint sticks.
