Hot Chocolate Nog

It's best to serve this delicious beverage immediately, while it's still hot.

Yield: Makes 7 1/2 cups

  • 1 quart eggnog
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup bourbon*
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Miniature marshmallows


  1. Heat first 3 ingredients in a large saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, and stir in bourbon. Stir in nutmeg. Pour mixture evenly into 8 mugs. Top with marshmallows, and serve immediately.
  2. *1 cup milk and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract may be substituted for bourbon.
