Horseradish Barbecue Sauce

Yield 3 cups


  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup catsup
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

How to Make It

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan; stir well. Bring to a boil . Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve sauce with pork roasts.
