How to Make It

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325°.

Step 2

Place figs in a saucepan. Add water to cover; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes. Remove from heat; uncover and let stand 20 minutes. Drain well. Place figs in a 1 1/2-quart baking dish; drizzle with honey. Bake at 325° for 25 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with toasted almonds. Serve warm.
