Homemade White Bread

I made this because we ran out of bread and it was cheaper and easier to make the bread than run out and get more. ( I have little kids) The little ones loved watching me knead it. the bread was great and tastes wonderful with just butter. And it toasts great too. Definitely a nice change from store bought bread. And it was very easy to make, not complicated and all of the ingrediants were things I have on hand most of the time. I will definitely be making this more often.

My bread came out really thick, did it need more kneading or rising? Or is that how it is?
