Homemade Peanut Butter

We liked the flavor of unsalted peanuts in this recipe, but if salt is not a problem for you, you can make it with salted peanuts. To save time, you can start with shelled roasted peanuts.

1 pound unshelled, unsalted roasted peanuts (2 1/2 cups shelled)


1. Shell peanuts; remove and discard skins.

2. Place peanuts in a food processor. Process 3 minutes, stopping once to scrape down sides. Store in a covered jar or other airtight container in refrigerator.
