Ingredients

  • 10 cup coarsely chopped red cooking apple (about 3 pounds)
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 1 hour or until apples are tender, stirring occasionally.
