Home-Style Baked Beans

This was out of this world. Suggestions: use Bush's Vegetarian Beans, chop the onion instead of quartering it, use 1/2 cup Stubbs Original Barbeque Sauce and 1/2 cup ketchip and leave out the bacon. My apologies. I hate it when other reviewers do this - it's not even the same recipe any more!

Outstanding and old fashion tasting recipe. Normally, I wouldn't give something 5 stars to something that starts with a processed item (i.e. Bush's baked beans) but in this instance, it sure was good!

Best baked bean recipe ever. I use Original Recipe Bush's Baked Beans, 1 large red onion cored, peeled and chopped and a whole pound of bacon well cooked, drained and chopped. The beans are sweet enough without the brown sugar so I leave it out. I leave out the mustard as well.
