Drinking this right now on Christmas Eve when I realized I was out of egg nog...DELICIOUS! I used Maker's Mark, but I'm sure any bourbon would be great. My husband just tasted it and insisted I make him one too. I wouldn't change a thing!

From the kitchen of Natalie Broulette, New York, New York, thesoho.blogspot.com
"It's unusual to find a cold drink that gives you that sense of holiday coziness, but this one does. Grate the nutmeg fresh. It makes a difference."

- 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Crushed ice
