- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 5 egg yolks
- 1 unbaked (9-inch) pastry shell
How to Make It
Combine first 3 ingredients; mix well. Set aside.
Cream butter in a medium mixing bowl; add sugar mixture, beating well. Add milk and yolks. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 375°, and continue baking 45 minutes. Cool before slicing.
