Ingredients

  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed
  • 2 teaspoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Preparation

  1. Arrange beans in a vegetable steamer. Steam, covered, 9 minutes or until crisp-tender. Place in a serving bowl; toss with butter. Add parsley and remaining ingredients; toss gently.
